DEXTER, Mo. -- Betty Lou Russell, 75, died Sept. 7, 2017, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Oct. 29, 1941, in Fisk, to the late Bill and Mary Lou Gay Minehart, she was a retired riverboat cook and of the Pentecostal belief.
On April 28, 2012, she married Steve Russell, and he survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four sons and two daughters-in-law, John and Julia Kirk of Benton, Sam Kirk of Marble Hill, Jody Kirk of Farmington and Walter and Deann Kirk of Chaffee; one daughter, Ronda Funk of Goreville, Ill.; and 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with the Rev. Ken Johnson officiating.
Burial will be at Pleasant Groves Cemetery in Bell City.
