NEW MADRID, Mo. -- Calvin Morgan passed away Sept. 12, 2017, at his home in New Madrid at the age of 83 years.
He was born June 11, 1934, to the late Bob and Fronie Lee Morgan in Matthews.
On Jan. 17, 1952, in New Madrid, he married Emma Lou McDaniel, who survives of the home.
He was a member of Steel-Workers Local 7686 and was employed at Noranda Aluminum until his retirement.
Survivors include: one son, Calvin Dewayne Morgan of New Madrid; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Charles Grissom of St. Augustine, Fla.; one sister and brother-in-law, Roberta and Jim Rice of Risco; three grandchildren, Adam Morgan of New Madrid and Jessica and Charlie Grissom of St. Augustine.; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Friday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. The Rev. Ed Thomason will officiate.
