Janet Schnaath

NEW MADRID, Mo. -- Janet Linda Schnaath, 80, died Sept. 14, 2017, at New Madrid Living Center in New Madrid.

Born Aug. 9, 1937, in St. Louis, to the late William Weinreich and Ida Sieveking Weinreich, she was of the ELCA Lutheran belief.

Her husband, Earl Schnaath, preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2005.

She was also preceded in death by two two sisters, Helen Bradley and Bernice Lesch.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Heidi Schnaath of Philadelphia and James and Monique Schnaath of Orlando; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia Schnaath of Lenexa and Debbie and Floyd Simmons of Portageville; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Augusta City Cemetery.

Burial will follow.

DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville is in charge of arrangements.
