SIKESTON -- Brenda Rolwing, 67, died Sept. 16, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Born Nov. 5, 1949, in Frisco, daughter of the late Richard Caldwell and Dorothy Rowe Caldwell, she was a former secretary at Saint Henry's Church and School, a former clerk at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, a former librarian at the Sikeston Public Library. SIKESTON -- Brenda Rolwing, 67, died Sept. 16, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 5, 1949, in Frisco, daughter of the late Richard Caldwell and Dorothy Rowe Caldwell, she was a former secretary at Saint Henry's Church and School, a former clerk at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, a former librarian at the Sikeston Public Library. She was raised in the Pyletown Community and was a 1967 graduate of Dexter Senior High School.

On July 3, 1993, in Sikeston, she married Donald Rolwing, who survives of the home in Sikeston.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Jason Pounds (Andrea Burnett) of Sikeston; one daughter, Laura LaPorte of Southaven, Miss.; one stepson, Codi Rolwing of Matthews; one brother, Michael Caldwell of Sikeston; and six grandchildren, Kendall Pounds, Logan LaPorte, Kennedy LaPorte, Gage Rolwing, Banks Rolwing and Bennett Rolwing.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Burial will follow in the Texas Bend Cemetery near Charleston.
