Cotton Carnival begins

The Sikeston American Legion Cotton Carnival got underway Tuesday night as many were on hand to enjoy rides on wristband night. The Cotton Carnival continues tonight with all rides $1.50 and the Little Mr. and Miss Cotton Carnival contest beginning at 7 p.m.

On Thursday, the Junior Miss Sikeston contest will begin at 8 p.m. and another wristband night will be Friday.

On Saturday, the annual Cotton Carnival parade will begin at 10 a.m. and from noon to 5 p.m. wristband day will be held at the Carnival. The Miss Cotton Carnival contest will begin at 1:30 p.m. with Miss Sikeston set for 8 p.m. Saturday.
