ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Annette Bixler Dismuke, age 77, passed away on May 6, 2018, at her home in St. Louis.
She was born on Nov. 23, 1940. in Steele, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Addie Hampton Bixler.
On Jan. 14, 1976, in Canalou, she married Thomas Jefferson Dismuke, who preceded her in death on May 26, 2015.
She is survived by her children, Kim Schilli of St. Louis, Bill Purdy of O’Fallon, Robin Purdy of St. Louis, Garland Dismuke of St. Louis and Thom Dismuke of Las Vegas, Nev., as well as seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, James and Betty Bixler of Sikeston; sisters, Shirley Alexander of Levelland, Texas, and Sue Smith of Enid, Okla.; sister-in-law, Pat Bixler, of Cape Girardeau as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Lee Bixler and Joe B. Bixler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2018, from noon. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with Shawna McWaters of Oklahoma City, Okla., officiating.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: April Purdy, Sandy Purdy, Tony Schilli, Peyton Purdy, Clayton Hardesty and Ryan Bockerstette.
