SIKESTON — Bobby Joe McReynolds, 85, of Sikeston, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Jan. 26, 1933, at rural Sikeston, to the late Ralph and Stella McReynolds, he was a 1950 graduate of Morehouse High School. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force, was a 50-year member of the Sikeston Masonic Lodge 310 AF&AM, a member of the Studebaker Club of America, retired from Sikeston Motor Company, and was a member of Miner Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir.
Bob was married to Jean Ann Skelton McReynolds on Nov. 27, 1976, in Sikeston, and she preceded him in death on April 20, 2010.
Children surviving the marriage of Bob and Jean Ann are: Mari Ann (Mike) and Scott (Kathy).
Children surviving the marriage of Bob and Mona Taylor McReynolds are: Dana, Mike (Cindie) and Marty (Gina).
“Pop” or “Poppy-Joe” as he was known to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, is survived by: Ian (Jennifer & baby on the way), Kaci (Matt), Paxton (Megan), Ellie (Brian), Martin, Anna (Kurt), Micah (Patty), Meredyth (Cooper), Noah (Bailey), Ryan (Alicia), Kaylea, J.J., Collin, Riley, Charlotte, Graham, Landon, Colton, Rylee, and Rebekah.
Bob is also survived by his brother, Jim; his beloved canine companions, Mitzi and Macy; many wonderful nieces and nephews; and a host of treasured friends.
The family would like to especially thank Pam Burton, his caregiver, his constant companion, and his dear friend, for all she did for him and for us. We could not have traveled this road without her.
Besides his wife and parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Bill and sister, Maxine.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 13, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Miner Baptist Church in Sikeston, with service to follow at 4 p.m. The Rev. Jim Matthews and the Rev. Mitch Jackson will officiate.
Interment to follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield at a later date.
