CARROLLTON, Mo. — Leland Stanford “Lee” Stucker Jr. passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Life Care Center in Carrollton. Lee was the son of Leland Stanford and Geneva (Drury) Stucker, born on Sept. 8, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He graduated from high school in Matthews, Mo. CARROLLTON, Mo. — Leland Stanford “Lee” Stucker Jr. passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Life Care Center in Carrollton.

Lee was the son of Leland Stanford and Geneva (Drury) Stucker, born on Sept. 8, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He graduated from high school in Matthews, Mo. Lee was a mechanic and handyman, who absolutely loved owning and operating his shop on Swift Street in North Kansas City, Mo. He liked to tinker on engines as well as on anything mechanical.

Lee is survived by his three children, Sharon Bodenstein and husband, Sonny, of Cape Girardeau, Sandra Rodecap and husband, Roger, of Port Isabel, Texas, and Jeffery Stucker and wife, Cam, of Kansas City; siblings, Mary Mitchell of Sikeston, Mo., Linda Fisher of St. Louis, Mo., and Betty Strickland and husband, Sonny, of Bertrand, Mo.; eight grandsons; numerous great-grandchildren; and his four beloved cats.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Geneva Stucker; one son, John Kim Stucker; one daughter, Rebecca Stucker; and three sisters.

A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Bittiker Funeral Home, 1201 North 65 Highway, Carrollton.

A second visitation will be held Friday, May 18 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in East Prairie, Mo.

Burial will be in East Prairie Cemetery at East Prairie.
