Geraldine Owens
EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Geraldine Owens, 76, died May 16, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Nov. 9, 1941, in Wolf Island Community in Mississippi County, daughter of the late Bill and Frances Martin Stockman, she had been employed by Brown Shoe Company, was manager of Big Book Club in East Prairie during the 1980s and worked for Continu-Care Homemaker Services until her retirement in 2002.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Shelley Owens of East Prairie; one brother, Jimmy Wayne Stockman of East Prairie; one sister, Shirley Hooker of Byhalia, Miss.; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Stockman; one sister, Patricia Stallings; and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at East Prairie Memorial Park with Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie in charge of arrangements.
