Rhonda Rice

DEXTER, Mo. — Rhonda Rice, 65, passed away May 22, 2018, at her home in Dexter.

Born Nov. 5, 1952, daughter of Emma Sue Graham Hampton of Essex and the late Robert Gene Hampton, she was a homemaker, mother and grandmother and attended Christ Gospel Church.

Survivors in addition to her mother include: one son, Joshua Robert Rice of Essex; two daughters, Tiffany Lynn Winter of Morley and April Dawn Rice of Dexter; one brother, Gary Hampton of Sikeston; and six grandchildren, Ashton Lewis Chadd, Hunter Allen Chadd, Torrie Danielle McGee, Colton Reed Winter, Jude Robert Rice and Emma Lyn Rice; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Melody Eaton.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. held Friday, May 25 at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26.

Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery at Bloomfield.

Pallbearers will be: Stan Medlin, Kevin Winter, Josh Rice, Gary Hampton, Ashton Chadd, Hunter Chadd and Colton Winter.
