GRAYRIDGE, Mo. — Debra Ann Harlan, 59, died May 24, 2018, at her home in Grayridge.

Born Jan. 6, 1959, in St. Louis, daughter of the late James Eugene and Naomi

Joyce Ross Dougherty, she had worked as a custodian at the Jackson schools and moved to Grayridge over 30 years.

On Aug. 4, 1989, in Essex, she married Michael Harlan, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Tommy J. Harlan of Essex; three daughters and sons-in-law, Melody and Justin Davis of Essex, Diane Bardol of Jackson, Deedra and Austin Gardner of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter-in-law, Monika Harlan; two brothers, Larry Dougherty of Perryville and Larry Carr of Tennessee; three sisters, Toni Parham of St. Louis, Eva Warren and Rhonda Caldwell of Oklahoma; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael T. Harlan; and two brothers, Timothy and Terry Dougherty.

A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. at the home in Grayridge.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
