CHAFFEE, Mo. — Thelma Lea Baker Stone, 94, died June 13, 2018, at her home.

Born on Dec. 30, 1923, in Bourbon, daughter of the late Rev. Charles R. and Mary E. Baker in Bourbon, she was a homemaker and member of United Methodist Women, PEO and DAR.

On April 7, 1940, she married George F. Stone, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: her children, Mary Morman, James (Nancy) Stone and Ruth (Donald) Schulte; and five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Charles, Leslie and Samuel Baker; four sisters, Ethel Baker, Mabel Sample, Lucille May and Jane Barnes; a son-in-law, Bill Morman; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Gwen Streeter and the Rev. Richard Combs officiating.

Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
