Dewayne Reeves

SIKESTON — Dewayne Reeves of Sikeston passed away on June 29, 2018, at the age of 71.

Born Sept. 21, 1946, he was the son of Polly and Wayne Reeves who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Renee Reeves of the home.

Dewayne is also survived by one daughter, Deena Reeves Sukenik of Dallas, Texas; one son, Tim (Paula) Reeves of Jonesboro, Ark.; three grandsons, Alec Sukenik, Coen Reeves and Callahan Reeves; and one granddaughter, Rachel Sukenik.

Dewayne is also survived by three sisters, Janet (Jim) Miller, Linda (Guy) Jenkins of Sikeston and Margaret (David) Russell of Blodgett; and one brother, John Paul (Lisa) Reeves of Sikeston.

In addition, he had an extended family which included Chris Roberts who also preceded him in death, as well as Jerry Roberts of Pocahontas, Ark.; and two grandsons, Aaron Roberts and Alex Roberts also of Pocahontas.

Dewayne was preceded in death by two sisters, Janie Elsworth and Carol Kindred.

There was a memorial service held in Blodgett on July 2, 2018.

Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston was in charge of arrangements.
