CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. — Two Caruthersville residents are in jail after two different assaults this weekend.

According to the Caruthersville Police Department, Gary Gale Jr., 21, was jailed for assault on a law enforcement officer by means of a deadly weapon/dangerous instrument and first degree property damage on Friday.

Gale Jr. was transported to the Pemiscot County Justice Center where he is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.

On Saturday, police arrested Bobby Foreman, 40, for first degree assault with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.

Foreman was transported to the Pemiscot County Justice Center where he is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
