Brenda Watson

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. — Brenda Watson, 71, died July 8, 2018 at her home in Bloomfield.

Born Feb. 24, 1947 daughter of the late Arnold Alvin and Bessie Mae Whittley Case, she had worked as a secretary with Specialty Products while living in the Essex and Bloomfield areas most of her life. She attended the St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia, Mo.

On Aug. 19, 1967, she was married to Charles Thomas Watson in St. Louis, Mo., who preceded her in death on May 3, 1991.

Survivors include: two sons, Donald Watson of Bloomfield, Samuel Watson of Culman, Ala.; one daughter, Sherry Case of Bloomfield; two brothers, Ronald Case of Essex and Larry Case of Dexter; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Watson, two sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., where services will be held on 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Burial will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter.
