Lloyd Michelson
ORAN, Mo. — Lloyd Elton Michelsen, 81, died July 14, 2018, at his home.
Born Aug. 24, 1936, in Hagarville, Ark., son of the late Charley Elton and Faye Etta Bacchus Michelsen, he was a retired meat cutter for several area stores and member of First Baptist Church in Oran.
On Dec. 7, 1958, he married Nancy Pauline Montgomery, and she survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Eric E. and Valerie Michelsen of Jackson; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa and Rick Walter of Oran and Kimberly Michelsen of Springfield; a brother, Donald Michelsen of Oran; three sisters, Bonnie Dover of Cape Girardeau, Betty Thele of Arnold and Sharon London of Illinois; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time at noon Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran with the Rev. Donnie Ford officiating.
Burial will be at New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
