Phyllis Trankler
ORAN, Mo. — Phyllis Ann Trankler, 75, died July 14, 2018, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.
Born June 21, 1943, in Oran, daughter of the late Clemence Peter and Syvilla Rosina Seyer Sobba, she was the secretary for North Scott County Ambulance Service and member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, St. Ann’s Sodality and Knights of Columbus Council 4311 Ladies Auxiliary.
On Sept. 15, 1962, she married Henry William Trankler, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Keith Trankler and Gregg and Reba Trankler of Oran; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa and Donald Beckham and Nancy Reece of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Louise Jansen and Alice Uhrhan of Chaffee and Marie Seiler of Leopold; and 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leon James Sobba.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. followed by KC prayers.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant.
Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.
