Faye Jeffries
CENTRALIA, Mo. — Faye Anne Jeffries, 85, formerly of Charleston and Columbia, died July 13, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Centralia.
Born Feb. 28, 1933, in Charleston, daughter of the late Bill and Zettie Elrod McCutchen, she lived in Charleston until June 1965 when she moved to Columbia with her children. She was employed with the State of Missouri Department of Education teaching food health and sanitation. Later, she became a Realtor in the Columbia area until her retirement.
Survivors include: five children, Carolyn (Bob) Williams of Centralia, Sherry Williams (Galen) Harper and Deborah Lancaster Cannon of Columbia, Kimberly Jeffries Day of St. Charles and Darrell (Linda) Jeffries of Bellflower; two brothers, Morris McCutchen of East Prairie and Ernest Glenn McCutchen of Springfield; and 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred McCutchen, William McCutchen and Joe McCutchen; four sisters, Juanita Troutt, Freda Payne, Thelma Simmerman and Virginia Dickerman; and one grandson.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service teammate 11 a.m. Friday at the Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel in Columbia. The Rev. Greg Dickerman, her nephew, will officiate.
Visitation will then be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Graveside services will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
