Carol Vielhak
SIKESTON — Carol L. "Smith" Vielhak, 74, formerly of Eureka, Ill., died July 15, 2018, at Westfield Nursing Center in Sikeston.
Born Nov. 19, 1943, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of the late James Douglas and Flossie Lucille Gestring White, she had sold advertising for the Woodford County Journal in Eureka before moving to Sikeston about 13 years ago.
On Jan. 27, 1995, in Bloomington, Ill., she married Larry Lee Vielhak, who preceded her in death on June 4, 2002.
One brother, James D. White, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Teresa Sneed of Sikeston and Lynn and Tom Krumholz of Eureka; one sister, Joyce Anne Gilmore of Snow Hill, Md.; four grandchildren, Danielle Litwiller and Christian Keefer of Sikeston, Ellen Krumholz of Minneapolis and Jane Krumholz of Chicago; and three great-grandchildren, Stephon, Ashlyn and Piper of Sikeston.
A celebration of life/visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday at the Argo-Rustman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka.
