SIKESTON — Clinton Daniels, 78, July 23, 2018, at his daughter’s home in Talala, Okla.

Born Jan. 26, 1940, in Murray, Ark., son of the late Leonard and Isabelle Henderson Daniels, he had worked as a mechanic at Jarvis Motor Co. for 31 years.

On Jan. 6, 1969, in Double Springs, Ala., he married Annie Ergle Daniels, who survives of the home in Sikeston.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Rebecca Daniels of Lumberton, Miss.; three daughters and one son-in-law, Rhonda and Tom Lisenby of Talala, Melissa Smail of Sikeston and Janice Daniels of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Alvie Daniels of Lafe, Ark., and Dub Daniels of Carrie, Miss.; seven sisters, Wanda Maddox of Chaffee, Oleta Whitley of Morehouse, Lela Rushing and Karen Ramsey of Essex, Mary Roberts of Peru, Ind., Janet Gallo of Roach and Ruth Ann Swope of Warrensburg; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnnie Daniels and James Daniels.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday with Steven Cartwright, pastor of Assembly of God Church in Canalou, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with full military honors.

Pallbearers will be: Rexell Ergle, Christopher Lisenby, Jeff Sanders Sr., Jay Sanders, Jerry Lewis and BrookeLynn Lisenby.

Honorary pallbearers will be Amie Smail and Alexis Lisenby.
