Shirley Dunivan
PUXICO, Mo. — Shirley Dunivan, 88, died July 25, 2018, at her home in Puxico.
Born June 8, 1930, in Fredericktown, daughter of the late Coda and June Lane
Brown, she had lived in Brownwood and then moved to Puxico in 1956. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church for over 50 years.
On Sept. 25, 1948, in Advance, she married William Edward "Ed" Dunivan, who preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2016.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Dean, Jerry and Darrell Brown; and four sisters Louise Marlowe, Patty Harris Peggy Arnett and Imogene Hale.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Pat Dunivan of Puxcio and James and Pam Dunivan of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Bobby Brown of Marquand and Mickey Brown of Marble Hill; and six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First General Baptist Church in Puxico, Missouri with Dr. Danny Dunivan of Evansville, Ind., and the Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield officiating.
Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico.
