SIKESTON — Roger Glenn Neumeyer, 53, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Myrtle Beach, S.C., while on vacation with his family.

Born Feb. 4, 1965, in Cape Girardeau, son of Glenn and Pat Willer Neumeyer of Gordonville, Roger graduated from Jackson High School in 1983, and he graduated in 1987 from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin where he was a member of their football team. Roger and his family attended Miner Baptist Church in Miner. Roger had been employed since 1989 at Associated Electric in New Madrid, where he served as the plant manager since 2007 and was recently promoted to senior plant manager. He was currently serving as the Kelly School Board President and was a volunteer coach for the Kelly Hawks football team.

On June 26, 1993, in Gordonville, he married Lisa Sullivan Neumeyer, who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three daughters, Adisynne and her fiance Thomas Forkum, McKynlee and Tori; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Shawn and Jill Neumeyer and their children, Colton and Aubrey of Gordonville, and Brent Neumeyer of Gordonville; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Corien Sullivan of Sikeston; one brother-in-law, Steve Sullivan Jr. and his children, Johnathan and Kaitlyn Sullivan of Sikeston; one sister-in-law, Iris Bolen; two nephews Justin (Tacy) Bolen and their children Taylin and Kellen Bolen; Gerald (Amy) Bolen and their children Peja and Kyndle all of Mount Vernon, Ill..

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018, from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. at Miner Baptist Church in Miner with Danny Kuykendall; Mitch Jackson, pastor of Miner Baptist Church in Miner; and Joel Kidwell, pastor of Zion Baptist Church in Gordonville, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gordonville.

Pallbearers will be: Steve Stroder, Jamie Nowak, Keith Holt, Colton Neumeyer, Derrick Deneke and Jim Mantz.
