Nearly 40 Boy Scouts had the potential to earn two badges in Welding and Metalwork at the Sikeston Career and Technology Center on Thursday night while the Sikeston Cub Scout Day Camp is being held at the Elks Lodge Thursday through Saturday with the theme “Weird, Wacky, Science."

Jake French with Cub Scout Pack 4351 of Portageville concentrates while participating in an archery event Thursday during the Sikeston Cub Scout Day Camp at the Elks Lodge. The camp, which was held Thursday through Saturday, took on the theme “Weird, Wacky, Science,” and attendees participated in science activities, nature, outdoor games, crafts, outdoor cooking, archery and BB guns.
