Parker completes semiannual training
SIKESTON — Michael Parker completed his semiannual training with America’s IRA Experts at Ed Slott and Company, LLC, in Philadelphia May 17-19.
The workshop, which was attended by members of Ed Slott’s Master Elite IRA Advisor Group, provided in-depth technical training on advanced retirement account planning strategies and estate planning techniques, as well as an update on the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018on retirement planning.
“There are many changes coming out of Washington, and it’s important for me to understand how these changes can impact my clients’ financial futures,” Parker said. “Many are asking if they’re doing all they can to maximize their wealth. The training I receive as a member of this group allows me to serve as a trusted resource to those who want to evolve their financial plans in accordance with the changing laws and regulations.”

Hillis named Legal Hero by Missouri Lawyers Weekly

Tucker celebrates 20 years with Farm Credit
SIKESTON – Tammy Tucker, loan operations specialist at Farm Credit Southeast Missouri, recently reached 20 years of service with Farm Credit according to President and CEO Bob Smith.
Tucker began her Farm Credit career in 1998 as a customer service representative at the Kennett, Mo., Branch office. After a little over four years at Kennett, her family moved to Jonesboro, Ark., and Tucker transferred to Farm Credit Midsouth in 2003. Over the next 13 years, she held positions of customer service representative, customer service team leader, and lending services coordinator, leading key technology/operations initiatives for Midsouth.
In May 2016, Tucker returned to the Sikeston area and resumed her career with the Farm Credit Southeast Missouri Association where she currently serves as loan operations specialist at the Central Office.
Smith stated, “We greatly appreciate Tammy’s deep knowledge of our systems and operations and her team leadership skills. We are very fortunate to have Tammy as a member of the Farm Credit team.”
Campbell named customer service representative
SIKESTON – Sandi Campbell has accepted the position of customer service representative at the Sikeston Branch of Farm Credit Southeast Missouri, according to President and CEO Bob Smith.
Campbell has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting and a minor in finance from Southeast Missouri State University. She brings with her over 30 years of very valuable experience in the accounting field, most recently serving as controller of Cape Retirement Community (Chateau Girardeau).
Campbell resides in Oran, Mo. with her husband Kelly.
MDMC receives patient safety award from MHA
SIKESTON — The Missouri Hospital Association (MHA) recently recognized Missouri Delta Medical Center with the “Most ZERO HARM Measures Award” and announced they are in the top 10 percent of hospitals participating in The Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN). This award specifies that Missouri Delta Medical Center has either achieved and/or sustained the longest duration of time without harming a patient in the 11 topic areas.
The Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) is a partnership with the Missouri Hospital Association to drive quality improvement and increase patient safety throughout the state of Missouri.
