SIKESTON — Betty Ruth Killian, 78, formerly of Holland, Mich., died July 22, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 19, 1939, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of the late Eugean and Hazel Rutherford Wadkins, she was a secretary for Holland State Park in Holland for 25 years before retiring in 1992. She had lived in Sikeston since February 2007.

On Nov. 24, 1967, in Kennett, she married James L. Killian; he preceded her in death on May 5, 2010.

Survivors include: one son, Jason J. Killian of Holland; one daughter, Susan L. Killian of Michigan; one brother, Billy G. Wadkins; and five grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen K. Pena; two brothers, LeRoy Wadkins and Thomas L. Wadkins; and an infant sister.

Private services were held and burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Ponder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
