Elvis Gaskins
CHARLESTON, Mo. — Elvis Lee Gaskins, 53, died Aug. 1, 2018, at his home in Charleston.
Born Oct. 18, 1964, at Hayti, son of the late John Lee Gaskins and Lavonna Jean Jones Gaskins, he had lived most of his life in Charleston where he owned and operated Gaskins Fuel Injection and then became employed with the Charleston R-1 School District as a mechanic in the transportation department.
Survivors include: his life partner, Sondra Jones of the home; his stepchildren, Denise Jones of Charleston, Nichelle Haddock of Bertrand and Aaron Jones of Charleston; two brothers, Curtis Gaskins of Texas and James Bruenderman of Bonne Terre; one sister, Carolyn Gaskins of Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Gaskins.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until service time at 6:30 p.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Private burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
