Guy Byassee Jr.
CHARLESTON, Mo. — Guy Alonzo Byassee Jr., 55, formerly of East Prairie, died July 31, 2018, at his residence.
Born Feb. 21, 1963, in Sikeston, son of Guy Franklin and Faye Dean Day Byassee Sr. of East Prairie, he was employed by Faith Global Truck Repair in Charleston. He was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church and a volunteer bus driver for those attending Wednesday church services.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: one son, Anthony Byassee of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Tamra Shayne Kesner of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Shanna Marie Sells of Elkins, Ark.; and one brother, Franklin Kelly Byassee of Phoenix; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Tonya Ann Mazeall.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday with Jon Archie, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church, officiating
Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Shane Golightly, Kenny Golightly, DeWayne Golightly, Jessie Sells, Finley Archie and Devontrez Coleman.
