LA CENTER, Ky. – Mississippi County has hired Paducah, Ky., based consulting and destination branding company, 20/20 Xtreme. A press conference will take place at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Mississippi County Courthouse courtroom A to address a plan of action for strategic planning and a digital marketing incentive from 20/20 Xtreme. “Working with Mississippi County is exciting for 20/20 Xtreme as we believe tourism and economic growth are intrinsically linked to regionalism. We have the opportunity to tell the story of this region and showcase it in a way that has never been revealed to new demographics. I’m also excited about the opportunity for the current citizens to access new or more resources than before,” said Jon Deaton, president of 20/20 Xtreme.
Community leaders are expected to be in attendance at the press conference including county commissioners, chamber of commerce board members and leaders, the director of Charleston Chamber of Commerce & Tourism and other personnel for the announcement and will field questions from members of the press.
