SIKESTON — Donald Gene Williams, 64, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born Aug. 19, 1953, in Mississippi County, to Ralph Williams and Ruby Blasingain. He married Vickie Joyce Jones on July 17, 1975.
He is survived by Vickie Williams of Sikeston; a son, Shane (Shalon Baker) Williams of Sikeston; a daughter, Leigh (Tim) Mayberry of Sikeston; a son and a daughter he informally adopted, Clayton Crowden of Sikeston and Rachell Williams of Scott City; six brothers, Darriel Williams of Commerce, Bonnie Williams of Anniston, Robert Staggs of Royalton, Ill., Clyde Staggs, Leroy Blasingain and Michael Blasingain of East Prairie; two sisters, Connie Carlyle-Bennett of Mounds City, Ill., and Dyanne Haddock of Clifton, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Ian Williams, Christian Williams and Savannah Barnhouse; and two informally adopted grandchildren, Christopher Ramzy Gideon and Charles Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of service Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel with the Rev. Larry Gammons officiating.
