Danny Russell
EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Danny Leon Russell, 67, died Aug. 9, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 29, 1950, in Sikeston, son of the late Argus Ragon and Ardena Noe Russell, he was the owner of Danny Russell Trucking and a member of Elm Street Baptist Church.
On Sept. 25, 1971, he married Patti Anne Garrett, who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: one son, Trent Russell of East Prairie; one daughter and son-in-law, “Mandy” and Jason Aycock of East Prairie; one brother, Tony Russell of East Prairie; three sisters, Dolores Voliva of West Memphis, Ark., Barbara Tinnon of East Prairie and Jo Ann McMoy of Cordova, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Hartsil Russell; and one sister, Debra Gray.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday with Jon Archie officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Abner, Ronnie Hall, Mikey Johnson, Steve Ellis, McIvan Jones and Calvin Parr.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Brett Ellis, Hayden Ellis and Derez Tipler.
