Donna Riggens
CHARLESTON, Mo. — Donna Denise Hall Riggens, 60, died Aug. 5, 2018, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Nov. 23, 1957, in Charleston, to the late Lonnie Cannidy and Arlene Starks Hall., she was of the Christian belief and member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston. She attended Charleston High School in Charleston, where she was a graduate of the Class of 1977. She worked in health care and also at Lambert’s Cafe in Sikeston.
On Sept. 4, 1982, she married Troy Lee Riggens, who survives of Charleston.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Derrick (Shalekqua) Hall and Mortez (Betty) Hall of Charleston; two daughters, Roniesha Riggens of Charleston and Ajami (Jerquawn) Riggens of Jonesboro, Ark., four brothers, L.G. Hall of Chicago, Ill., Henry Hall, Freddie Hall and Ross Starks of Charleston; four sisters, Emma Van Winkle of Chicago, the Rev. Frankie Daniels, Rosalyn Anderson and Beverly Jones of Charleston; two special friends, Vinna Anderson and Rosemary Prude of Charleston; and 20 grandchildren and two-great grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist in Charleston with the Rev. Frankie Daniels officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
