Johnny Kelso

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Johnny Davis Kelso, 62, died Aug. 9, 2018, at a hospital in Knoxville.

Born March 14, 1956, in Sikeston, Mo., son of Davis Kelso of Sikeston and the late Shirley Kelso, he attended Matthews High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Big Prairie Jaycees.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Walter Davis and Anne Kelso of Knoxville; two sisters, Judy Myers of Sikeston and Karen Waldron of Fulton, Miss.; two former wives, Carol Ledford and Rita Kelso; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Kasina and Kora of Knoxville.

A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Missionary Baptist Church in Matthews.
