Carla Hughes Moore

Carlotta “Carla” Moore, 54, passed away July 6, 2018 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau. Carla was born October 30, 1963, in Dexter, to Joe and Etta Lou (Shipp) Hughes of Morehouse, Mo.

She married Mark Moore April 21, 1984. He survives of the home.

Carla was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden, and co-owned and operated APS Automated Payroll Solutions with her husband.

Other survivors include one son, Benjamin Moore and wife, Harmony, of Sikeston; one daughter, Rachel Huggins and husband, Shawn, of Dexter; and two brothers, Steve Hughes and wife, Effie, of Morehouse, and Randy Hughes and wife, Tammy, of Portageville.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, 2018 at Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden, with Rev. Leroy Young and Rev. Rick Lovall officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston was in charge of arrangements.
