Barbara Chapman
BERTRAND, Mo. — Barbara Ann Chapman, 80, died Aug. 16, 2018.
Born Jan. 17, 1938, daughter of Harvie Lee and Dorothy Craddock Jackson, she was a1956 graduate of Anniston High School and a beautician. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Junior Study Club and women of Eastern Star in Charleston.
On Dec. 29, 1956, she married Jack Chapman, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include three children, Bruce and Marilyn Chapman of East Prairie, Judi Rollins of Cape Girardeau and Brice Chapman of Charleston; two sisters, Ruth Watson of Charleston and Janice Nolen of Bertrand; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robbie Rollins; and a grandson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Charleston, where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gerald Collier, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Christopher Chapman, Benjamin Chapman, Russ Wescoat, Jake McNichols, Josh Hart and Dennis Cox.
