Four area students receive the Hope Exchange Scholarship

Hope Exchange is pleased to award the 2018 Hope Exchange Scholarship to Miss Lexi Phillips of New Madrid County Central High School, Caleb Austin of New Madrid County Central High School, Kelsey Kellams of Portageville High School, and Yasmeen Leal of Risco High School.

The Hope Exchange scholarship is available to area high school seniors.  Qualifying students must have had a cancer diagnosis in their immediate family household prior to scholarship deadline.  For more information on the Hope Exchange Scholarship Program please contact Scott or Laura Griffin at(573) 748-5424.

Lexi Phillips is the daughter of Richard and Tammy Phillips of New Madrid, Mo. She will be attending the University of Georgia in Atlanta, where she will be pursuing a degree in political science.

 

 

Caleb Austin is the son of Christal Austin of Parma. He plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University where he will pursue a degree in music education and will be participating both in the SEMO marching bans and concert band.
Kelsey Kellams is the daughter of Joey and Millie Kellams of Portageville. She plans to attend Three Rivers College and pursue a degree in health science.
Yasmeen Leal is the daughter of Lorenda Vargas of Parma. She is enrolled at Missouri State University-West Plains to pursue a major in special needs education.
