Melissa Shands
CHARLESTON, Mo. — Melissa Diane Shands, 41, died Aug. 21, 2018, at her home.
Born July 10, 1977, in Charleston, daughter of Betty Sue Riggins Shands of Charleston, she was employed by Charleston Manor and attended Church of God in Christ of Charleston.
In addition to her mother, survivors include: one son, Derrick Maurice Evans of Charleston; three daughters, Dasha Rowe of Cape Girardeau and Tanesha Evans and Sierra Evans of Charleston; one brother, Charles Michael Shands of Wyatt; four sisters, Jackie Deloach of Charleston, Tammy Kirby of East Prairie, Paula Rogers of Jefferson City and Tina Kirkwood of Kansas City, Kan.; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Friday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Martin Lucas officiating.
