LaVerne Keller

CHAFFEE, Mo. — LaVerne Ruth Keller, 72, died Aug. 26, 2018, at her home in Chaffee.

Born Jan. 7, 1946, in Chaffee, daughter of the late Byrl Theodore and Mary Louise Schmitt Greer, she graduated from Chaffee High School in 1963. In 1983, she moved to Hutto, Texas, where she started her own cosmetology business. She returned to Chaffee after living in the Austin, Texas, area for 32 years.

On July 24, 1965, in Chaffee, she married Kenneth “Bud” Keller, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Ben Keller; one daughter and son-in-law, Krystal and Chad Beckley ; two sisters Rosemary Glenzy of Lexington, Ky., and Judy Greer of Columbus, Ohio; and  two grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kyle Keller of Austin; brothers, John, Nelson, Frank and Paul; a sister, Hattie; and one granddaughter.

A service will be held in Texas.
