SIKESTON — Marcus De'Andres Price, 27, died Aug. 23, 2018, in Sikeston.

Born April 15, 1991, in St. Louis, son of Walter and Alice Price Moss of Sikeston, he was of the Christian belief and a former member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. A 2009 graduate of Sikeston High School, he joined the United States Army where he served from 2009 until 2012. During this time, he earned a National Defense Service Medal, a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and an Army Service Ribbon. He was employed as a cook at Ruby Tuesday and the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: one son, Drew Cooper Price of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Adrian Price, Anthony Price and Jermaine Winfield of Sikeston and Marques Price of Blytheville, Ark.; three sisters, LaQuita Price of Sikeston, Brittany Price of Cape Girardeau and Kyla Moss of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; his grandmothers, Velma Woods of Sikeston and Virgie Duckett of Memphis, Tenn.; and his biological mother, Sherri Walker of St. Louis.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at noon Saturday at New Direction Outreach Ministries in Sikeston with Dr. LaMonte' Calvin, pastor, officiating. 

Burial will follow in Sikeston Memorial Park with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
