Charles Boyles
FISK, Mo. — Charles Boyles, 86, died Aug. 29, 2018, at Westwood Hills Nursing Center in Poplar Bluff.
Born Dec. 1, 1931, in Dexter, son of the late Harry Silas and Myrtha Juanita Abney Boyles, he served as a first lieutenant in the Army and graduated from University of Missouri in 1953. He lived in the Southeast Missouri area all his life he was a vo-ag school teacher until 1970 and owned Boyles Farm Service. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Dexter.
His wife, Norma Boyles, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Shiela Boyles of Fisk; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and James Galloway of Fisk; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Harold Dean and Carrol Gene Boyles; and two sisters, Vester Ruth Boyles and Catherine Hamaker.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Service in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Ron Beaton of Dexter officiating.
Burial with full military honors will be in the Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.
