Barbara Wheetley
SIKESTON — Barbara Jean Wheetley, 78, died Aug. 29, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center Sikeston.
Born Nov. 27, 1939, in Granite City, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Norman and Janetta Jolly McDaniel.
On July 31, 1957, in St. Louis, she married Kenneth Wheetley, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: five sons and three daughter-in-laws, Earl Wheetley and James and Charity Bode of Blodgett, Harold and Toni Wheetley of Grayridge, Darrel and Lisa Wheetley of Benton and Donald Bode of Morehouse; one daughter and son-in-law, Valada and Kenny Harp of Benton; one stepson, Jackie Wheetley of San Francisco; two stepdaughters, Janice Hernandez of Karnak, Ill., and Sue Wells of Sikeston; and 21 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald and Norman Wheetley; two brothers, Lester and Charles McDaniel; and one sister, Valada McDaniel.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with Kenny Harp, officiating.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Gerald Wheetley Jr., Kevin Wheetley, Walter Wells, Herman Wells, Joseph Harp, Derrick Wheetley, Terry Wheetley and Kenneth Wheetley.
