Mark McCormick

SIKESTON — Markus "Mark" T. McCormick, 63, died Aug. 29, 2018, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti. 

Born Sept. 30, 1954, in Chicago, son of the late Eulen and Lee (Mitchell) McCormick, he was of the Pentecostal belief and had been a grill cook at various restaurants. He had been a resident of the Sikeston area for two years and had previously lived in Metropolis, Ill. 

On Sept. 22, 2001, in Metropolis, he married Brenda Wilkins, and she survives of the home. 

Other survivors include: one daughter, Tonya McDaniels of Wyoming; one stepdaughter, Ashley (Wilkins) Smith of Sikeston; and two aunts and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Conder and Euleen Poe. 

A memorial service will be held a later date.
