Construction continues

Construction is continuing on Wing Elementary, a new elementary school in the Sikeston R-6 school district. In April 2017, voters approved an $11 million bond issue to build the school which will include a multi-purpose building and safe room. The overall plan is for the building to be completed by July 2019 and ready for use for the 2019-2020 school year.
