Robert Waters

PARMA, Mo. — Robert Earl Waters, 56, died Sept. 3, 2018, at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter.

Born May 15, 1962, in Morehouse, son of the late Art Lee Waters Sr. and Margaret Carrie Waters, he had lived in Parma most of his life and had worked in farming and also for Arvin Manufacturing and SRG Manufacturing.He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include: five daughters, Carrie Waters, Kaneisha Waters and Lexia Waters of Malden, Akeida Waters of Clarkson and Demonica Rainey of Parma; three sons, Robert Water Jr. and Herman Jackson of Parma and Kendrick Thatch of Sikeston; his longtime companion, Sonja Thatch of Parma; one sister, Joann Waters of Barlett, Tenn.; seven brothers, Freddie Lattimore of St. Louis, Art Lee Waters Jr. and LeRoy Waters of Parma, John Waters and Kenneth Waters of Cape Girardeau, Ray Waters of New Madrid and Larry Waters of Sikeston; and 16 grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at noon Saturday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma with Amos Hampton of Sikeston officiating.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
