Jean Harrell
CHAFFEE, Mo. — Jean D. Harrell, 92, died Sept. 5, 2018, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 30, 1926, in Chaffee, daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Moore, she was a retired machine operator for Chaffee Shoe Company. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chaffee and Chaffee Order of Eastern Star 48.
On July 17, 1952, she married the Rev. Watis Harrell, who preceded her in death on June 4, 2014.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters and two stepsons.
Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Pam Harrell of Jackson; four daughters, Velma Wachter of St. Clair, June Simmons of Chaffee, Rosetta Kinder of Scott City and Sandra Mauer of Mount Vernon, Ill.; and 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
