House is back with Extension Service for New Madrid County
He is no stranger to the Missouri University Extension Service especially in New Madrid County. Jeff House has come back home to work for the University Extension Service for the four Missouri Bootheel Counties, New Madrid, Mississippi, Pemiscot and Dunklin.
Previously, he had been working for the Extension Service in Stoddard County serving a much larger area for the past year and a half. He has also worked for seven years for ADI/Tennessee Farmers Coop now GreenPoint Ag. He started working in his new position on September 1, “It’s a new, fresh starting point, not only for me, but for the Extension Service as well. Several changes are taking place.” Before this, he has a total of 20 years working with the University of Missouri, 12 years doing research and eight years for the Extension Service in New Madrid County.

In all 114 Missouri counties, there is a Missouri University (MU) county extension council, made up of elected and appointed citizens, guides local educational programming. County council members are partners in the entire educational process, from needs assessment through program implementation and evaluation of outcomes.
