Euladean Farmer
PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — Euladean M. Farmer, 88, died Sept. 15, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born June 12, 1930, in Portageville, daughter of the late Mary Blanche Hall Dacus and James Olian Dacus, she was a member of the First Church of God for over 60 years. She served in many capacities throughout those years on the church council and as a Sunday school teacher in the women’s group.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded ind death by one son, Ross Eugene Farmer; five brothers, Cletus, Doyle, Lloyd, Gene and Glenn; and one sister, Charlotte.
Her husband, Leo E. Farmer, preceded her in death in 2016.
Survivors include: two sons, Leo “Brent” (Cindy) Farmer of Metamora, Ill., and Scott (Kim) Alan Farmer of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Sibert (Hazel) Dacus of Sikeston; one sister, Connie Shankle of Portageville; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Church of God in Portageville with the Rev. David Dittman officiating.
Burial followed in the Portageville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Brad Armstrong, Trey Weddington, Collin Moneymaker, Blake Weddington, Adam Farmer and Lee Dacus.
Honorary pallbearers were: Don Rone, Buddy Brasher, Trey Rone, Billy Joe Russell and Dr. O.A. Huck.
