David Trice Sr.
SIKESTON — David Ray Trice Sr., 63, died Sept. 11, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston.
Born Feb. 18, 1955, in Little Rock, Ark., son of Mildred Lewis Trice of Neelyville and the late Raymond Lee Trice Sr., he was a 16-year veteran of the United States Army, serving mostly in Germany as well as in North Korea and South Korea. After being honorable discharged in 1990, he acquired his CDL license and worked for Hall’s Trucking Line of Charleston and Synder’s LLM.
On Feb. 18, 1995, at Poplar Bluff, he married Blanca Guajardo, and she survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Roshonda Jackson of Arlington, Texas, and Davida Trice of Baton Rouge, La.; five sons; Christopher McComb of Neelyville, Demetrius Watkins of Denver, Colo., David Ray-Shun Jackson of Monroe, La., David Earl Trice of Washington and David Ray Trice Jr. of Sikeston; three sisters, Dorothy A, Murchison of Little Rock, Ark., Delbra Ricketts of Riverside, Calif., Arnita Wilkins of Charleston; four brothers, Raymond Trice Jr. of Seattle, Garland Trice of Poplar Bluff and Darrell Trice and Bradley Trice of Neelyville; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitaiton is from 10 a.m. until service tomato 11 a.m. Saturday at Free Will Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with Victor Williams, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Veterans Cemetery at Little Rock.
