Janet Kolwyck
SIKESTON — Janet Sue Kolwyck, 68, died Sept. 20, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 7, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of the late Blan Wilfred and Elizabeth Elmyra Lamastus Kolwyck, she was of the Christian belief and a veteran of the United States Army, where she was a licensed practical nurse. She continued working as a nurse after her military service.
Survivors include: one son, Brent Kolwyck of Sikeston; and eight siblings, Blan Kolwyck Jr. of Jennings, Richard Kolwyck of Lilbourn, Patricia Harris of Matthews, Sharon Cheaney of Debary, Fla., Melinda Riley of Hickory Valley, Tenn., Calvin Kolwyck of Oak Ridge, Penny Taylor of Dayton, Ohio, and Mark Kolwyck of Benton.
In addition to her parents, one sister, Barbara K. Robinson, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Burial with full military honors will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery.
