Barnes-Sapp
SIKESTON — Heather Renee Barnes and Keith Rodney Sapp were united in marriage during a 6 p.m. ceremony June 16, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Sikeston. David Ross, pastor, officiated.
Parents of the bride are Ron and Mary Barnes of Sikeston, and the groom is the son of Oscar and Donna Sapp of Parma.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Madeline Gardner of Mori Lee design. Her dress featured embroidered lace appliques on a tulle ball gown with a scalloped hemline. She donned a beaded satin belt, a V-neck neckline and a button-down illusion back. She carried a bouquet of white roses, trimmed in white lace and her great-grandmother’s broach.
Laura Couch of Sikeston served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Candy Ward, Stephanie Pinkerton and Staci Barnes of Sikeston.
Flower girl was Zoie Pearson, daughter of Chris and Mary Allen of Kansas City. Ring bearers were John D. Barnes and Ben Barnes, sons of Chris and Staci Barnes of Sikeston.
Ellis Sapp of Parma was best man, and groomsmen were Joey Cummins of Marston, Brandon Townley of Benton and Jeff Ross of Sikeston.
Ushers were Chris Barnes and Nick Barnes of Sikeston, brothers of the bride.
A reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Sikeston.
Carrie Drake of Sikeston served as the wedding coordinator. Guestbook attendant and server was Alisah Coots of Cape Girardeau. Mary Allen of Kansas City was also a server.
Following a honeymoon to Las Vegas, the new Mr. and Mrs. Sapp are making their home in Sikeston.
