Bob Grissom


SIKESTON — Robert "Bob" Grissom, 74, died Sept. 28, 2018, at his home in Sikeston.

Born July 8, 1944, son of the late Ernest and Hazel Edna Presson Grissom, he had lived most of his life in Scott and Mississippi County. He attended Anniston High School and had worked as an auto mechanic.


He was married to Sue Johnson who survives in Sikeston. 


Survivors include: three daughters, Charity Carey of Sikeston, Shirlene Grissom of Cape Girardeau and Cassandra Hutcheson of East Prairie; three sisters, Mary Lou Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Joyce Clark of Puxico and Brenda Fitzgerald of Charleston; one grandson, Cameron Carey of Sikeston; and one special friend, Ella Prayor.


He was also preceded in death by two infant sons, Robert David Grissom and Frederick Heath Grissom; and two brothers, Dennis Burgess and Kenneth Wayne Warren.


Services will be held at a later date with McMikle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
